Giving up an elite job, Narayana Krishna now feeds the poor and downtrodden in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Krishna is an inspiration to all of us. An epitome of kindness and generosity.
Krishna tends to them as a Father would for his child. His foundation the Akshaya Trust feeds hundreds of homeless, elderly people those unprovided for on the streets. Making tears well up in their eyes. Experiencing such kindness and brotherliness from a complete stranger sure is a rare sight for those subjected to utter abandonment, loneliness even contempt from the society.
Might be Krishna attains much satisfaction and joy from helping those in need than he would have working for greed. A potent decision changing lives of many thousands.
Indeed a tough act to follow and to walk in his footsteps. Made effortless once the joy of giving is experienced. Giving becomes a habit rather than an obligation. Thank you Narayanan Krishna, for your relentless efforts in serving the helpless.
“Happiness doesn't result from what we get, but from what we give.”
Policing a free society is not a job it is only for those
zealous enough to help society function better, work with the community members to resolve budding
problems. May it be reporting of petty crimes, intervening in squabble which
might have resulted into a havoc if unchecked.
When a man or woman puts on a police uniform, they are highly
visible representatives of our government and who we are as a people. They
should be the epitome of our nation’s values. When police fail in this, we
all stumble. And once we fall as a nation, it takes a long time to get back on
our feet again.
Serving as a police officer also requires courage-both physical and moral. In many instances, the latter trait is more difficult than the former. Working odd hours, craving for holidays, playing with fire every
day, suffering from stress ailments are just some of the backdrops to a police
Only in such a secure environment citizens can go about their
daily work and interactions knowing that should trouble arise, their police
will fairly and effectively “sort it out;” that order and justice will always
be well-served by fair and effective police officers, and that police leaders
will always be cognizant of our society’s “big picture.”
Thereby, we express our gratitude to the policemen of our
country serving with dedication and commitment towards the well being of our

In layman terms a guru is "a religious teacher and spiritual guide".
For me this definition of guru is insufficient, adding to it I would say guru
is an experience of our inner self. A true guru bridges the physical with the
metaphysical merely by his presence.
Mohanji has given me much. His teachings through practical life experiences
conveyed in a straight forward manner, many countless experiences imparted to
me by his grace served as a doorway to eternal bliss. His direct approach in eradicating
negativity inside, made me ever ready in handling life with all its ups and
unpretentious, honest and above all a ‘True Guru’ who wants
nothing, instead imparts only love in return serves as an inspiration for many
of us. In a world wherein negativity is bought quickly in fact marketed while positive
actions go unnoticed.
Through his foundations
such as ‘Ammucare Charitable Trust’ he is working ceaselessly for
the impoverished encompassing not only humanity but also
our abused animal brethren. By voicing their god-given right to exist.
Offering my gratitude to
him. I can only express myself in these two simple but powerful words-: ‘Thank You’! for catalyzing selfless initiatives benefiting
Wilson Coutinho Martins of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil is a man who has dedicated his life to saving animals. No matter the depth of wound or how gory the injuries are. This man will go to any extent just to ensure that the life of a sentient being is saved.
In a world wherein even Human life is treated in trifles. This man stands as an example for those who still believe in compassion and kindness towards our animal brethren.
As a species with higher intellegience and technological capabilities we surely have some responsibility towards the animal kingdom. The human species shares a symbiotic relationship with the kingdom Animalia. Wilson reminded us of our responsibility and the beautiful relationship we share.
Thank you Wilson! Thank you for representing Human species as a savior of the helpless. We intend to walk in your footsteps towards carving a better world for them.
