An example of Positive Celebritism

Hey Leonardo,

Congratulations on winning a much deserved Oscar for your movie 'The Revenant'. Thank you for sending the message of climate change from such a prestigious  and powerful stage. In your acceptance speech instead of just thanking people and breezing off the stage. You took a moment to speak about a cause which decides the survival of our Mother Earth. Climate change is very real and it is happening now. We are taking our Planet for granted. Politics of greed, economical gains, speciesm, insensitivity and selfishness has brought us on the edge of extinction!

Speaking about such causes whilst standing on a global dais surely will instill collective awareness about adverse climate change happening and its consequences affecting each and every life form inhabiting the earth. More celebrities must follow suit. Awareness along with concrete actions is what is needed.

Thank you! for initiating a domino effect for the rest of us to follow.

'Animal Lover Coutinho' a reminder for Humanity

Wilson Coutinho Martins of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil is a man who has dedicated his life to saving animals. No matter the depth of wound or how gory the injuries are. This man will go to any extent just to ensure that the life of a sentient being is  saved.

In a world wherein even Human life is treated in trifles. This man stands as an example for those who still believe in compassion and kindness towards our animal brethren.

As a species with higher intellegience and technological capabilities we surely have some responsibility towards the animal kingdom. The  human species shares a symbiotic relationship with the kingdom Animalia. Wilson reminded us of our responsibility and the beautiful relationship we share.

Thank you Wilson! Thank you for representing Human species as a savior of the helpless. We intend to walk in your footsteps towards carving a better world for them.

Mohanji - An Unconventional Guru

Who is a Guru?
In layman terms a guru is "a religious teacher and spiritual guide". For me this definition of guru is insufficient, adding to it I would say guru is an experience of our inner self. A true guru bridges the physical with the metaphysical merely by his presence.

Personally speaking, Mohanji has given me much. His teachings through practical life experiences conveyed in a straight forward manner, many countless experiences imparted to me by his grace served as a doorway to eternal bliss. His direct approach in eradicating negativity inside, made me ever ready in handling life with all its ups and downs.

Hardworking, focused, unpretentious, honest and above all a ‘True Guru’ who wants nothing, instead imparts only love in return serves as an inspiration for many of us. In a world wherein negativity is bought quickly in fact marketed while positive actions go unnoticed.

Through his foundations such as ‘Ammucare Charitable Trust’ he is working ceaselessly for the impoverished encompassing not only humanity but also our abused animal brethren. By voicing their god-given right to exist.

Offering my gratitude to him. I can only express myself in these two simple but powerful words-: ‘Thank You’!  for catalyzing selfless initiatives benefiting every being.

Love always...

A Foundation of Hope

The Earth Saviours Foundation has been serving as a beacon pf light for the old, homeless, mentally disabled helpless individuals. In my association with the Earth saviors foundation quite a few years back. I experienced kindness for the poor and the helpless by this foundation coupled with an ever ready approach to help those in need.

This organization is lead by Mr Ravi Kalra ji. Who serves as an epitome of generosity and compassion. In my personal interaction with him i found him to be deeply humble and grateful to the deranged and deprived for giving him an opportunity to help.

A Karma yogi he has a firm belief that 'Moksha' or total liberation can be achieved by helping those in need. Liberation from greed, anger, jealousy, addictions or all kinds of negativity manifesting in our daily life. Converting such a noble thought into daily actions can be achieved by adding something positive to the society every single day,

In addition to old age homes for abandoned senior citizens he has also founded a rescue center for the mentally disabled and shelter homes to look after destitute women.

On top of that, TESF has spearheaded many initiatives and campaigns for the benefit of our environment collaborating with many organisations in a bid to save the earth from man-made adversities. Doing what they can, taking one step at a time.

Expressing my best wishes and sincere thanks for the hard-work put in by each and every volunteer working for the foundation. I shall end this Thankship with a quote which rings true for the state of our world and sums up the need for organizations like the Earth Saviors Foundation.

"Poverty is not an accident. Like slavery and apartheid, it is man-made and can only be removed by the actions of Human beings."- Nelson Mandela

Why Police matter?

Policing a free society is not a job it is only for those zealous enough to help society function better, work with the  community members to resolve budding problems. May it be reporting of petty crimes, intervening in squabble which might have resulted into a havoc if unchecked.

When a man or woman puts on a police uniform, they are highly visible representatives of our government and who we are as a people. They should be the epitome of our nation’s values. When police fail in this, we all stumble. And once we fall as a nation, it takes a long time to get back on our feet again.

Serving as a police officer also requires courage-both physical and moral. In many instances, the latter trait is more difficult than the former. Working odd hours, craving for holidays, playing with fire every day, suffering from stress ailments are just some of the backdrops to a police job.

Only in such a secure environment citizens can go about their daily work and interactions knowing that should trouble arise, their police will fairly and effectively “sort it out;” that order and justice will always be well-served by fair and effective police officers, and that police leaders will always be cognizant of our society’s “big picture.”

Thereby, we express our gratitude to the policemen of our country serving with dedication and commitment towards the well being of our citizens.

Thank You!
