A Foundation of Hope
The Earth Saviours Foundation
has been serving as a beacon pf light for the old, homeless, mentally disabled
helpless individuals. In my association with the Earth saviors foundation quite
a few years back. I experienced kindness for the poor and the
helpless by this foundation coupled with an ever ready approach to help those
in need.
This organization is
lead by Mr Ravi Kalra ji. Who serves as an epitome of generosity and
compassion. In my personal interaction with him i found him to be deeply humble
and grateful to the deranged and deprived for giving him an opportunity to
help.
A Karma yogi he has a
firm belief that 'Moksha' or total liberation can be achieved by helping those
in need. Liberation from greed, anger, jealousy, addictions or all kinds of
negativity manifesting in our daily life. Converting such a noble thought into daily
actions can be achieved by adding something positive to the society every
single day,
In addition to old age
homes for abandoned senior citizens he has also founded a rescue center for the
mentally disabled and shelter homes to look after destitute women.
On top of that, TESF has spearheaded many initiatives and campaigns for
the benefit of our environment collaborating with many organisations in a
bid to save the earth from man-made adversities. Doing what they can, taking
one step at a time.
Expressing my best
wishes and sincere thanks for the hard-work put in by each and every
volunteer working for the foundation. I shall end this Thankship with a quote
which rings true for the state of our world and sums up the need for
organizations like the Earth Saviors Foundation.
"Poverty is not an
accident. Like slavery and apartheid, it is man-made and can only be removed by
the actions of Human beings."- Nelson Mandela
